The Waterloo Global Science Initiative is organizing the Generation SDG Summit in Waterloo, Canada.

This event will seek to: identify a clear set of cross-cutting actions that can advance implementation efforts; support the sub-national implementation of the Goals; and enable the ecosystem of actors that will carry out this work. It will feature talks on climate change adaptation and mitigation and environmental racism. The final day of programming will feature recommendations made at the Generation SDG Summit on the development of a subnational framework for the implementation of the SDGs in Canada.
