The Global Environmental Facility (GEF) Council meets twice per year to approve new projects with global environmental benefits in the GEF's focal areas, and provide guidance to the GEF Secretariat and Agencies. In addition to the 43rd meeting of the GEF Council, from 13-15 November, a consultation with NGOs will take place on 12 November and the 13th meeting of the LDCF/SCCF Council will convene on 15 November.
