This event “Galvanizing the Global Acceleration of the SDGs” will feature the inaugural meeting and soft launch of the Global Councils on SDGs. The objective is to introduce the Global Councils Chairpersons, set expectations for their Councils, and identify cross-council collaboration opportunities to foster partnerships for the goals

The event is being hosted by the United Arab Emirates on the sidelines of the 76th session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA 76).
