The Permanent Mission of the Russian Federation to the UN and the World Health Organization (WHO) are organizing a roundtable, titled ‘Friends of the UN Inter-Agency Task Force on the Prevention and Control of Non-communicable diseases (NCDs): Supporting Member States to Achieve the NCD-related Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) targets'. The event will feature a panel discussion on the UN Inter-Agency Task Force's current work, showcase how the Task Force supports countries in progressing towards the NCD-related SDG targets, and highlight new global inter-agency programmes on good governance for health and other health-related topics.
