This meeting will precede the 16th meeting of the Ramsar Scientific and Technical Review Panel, to be held from 14-18 February 2011. It will address: implementation of the Strategic Plan for Biodiversity 2011-2020; the Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES); the Nagoya Protocol on access and benefit-sharing (ABS); the UN Decade on Biodiversity; and areas for collaboration or integration.
