First Regional Conference on Women’s Economic Rights: “Entrepreneurship, Public Policy and Access to Assets”

The President Pro-Tempore of the Central American Integration System's (SICA) Council of Women's Affairs Ministers (COMMCA) will hold a conference to bring together the principal actors involved with female entrepreneurship, public policy and access to assets among SICA's eight member States (Belize, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua and Panama) to discuss and exchange experiences with a view to generating conclusions and recommendations that can serve as the basis for regional programmes in financing, promotion of entrepreneurship and public policy that support women's economic rights and their role in development. The conclusions and recommendations will be forwarded to the Summit of Central American Presidents for possible follow-up.
