This high-level event will serve as the formal global launch of the UN Decade on Sustainable Energy for All, and as the first of regular yearly global platforms for launching new initiatives and projects in support of the UN Secretary-General's Sustainable Energy for All (SE4ALL) initiative, and reporting on the progress of the initiative. The first day will be dedicated to SE4ALL multi-stakeholder partnerships, and consist of parallel sessions of highlighting progress made and lessons learned by SE4ALL partners on: universalizing energy access; doubling the amount of renewables in the energy mix; and doubling the rate of progress on energy efficiency. The second day will include an SE4ALL Advisory Board Meeting and High-level Global Leaders Dialogue, while the third day High-Level Ministerial Dialogue on “Energy in the Post-2015 Development Agenda”.
