21-25 June 2010 Montego Bay, Saint James, Jamaica
Fifth Caribbean Environment Forum and Exhibition (CEF 5), Second Caribbean Sustainable Energy Forum (CSEF 2), and 15th Annual Wider Caribbean Waste Management Conference (ReCaribe)

These three events will be held simultaneously under the unified theme “Coping with Copenhagen: Water, Waste, Energy, Health…” to emphasize actions and strategies to address key Caribbean environmental issues against the backdrop of climate change. The CEF series on Caribbean health and environment has been organized by the Caribbean Community’s (CARICOM) Caribbean Environmental Health Institute (CEHI) biennially since 2000. The CSEF focuses on energy efficiency, renewable energy and energy security for Small Island Developing States (SIDS). The annual ReCaribe has been organized since 1995 by Clean Islands International (CII) to discuss waste management issues in the wider Caribbean region. The combined event is being co-sponsored by the Jamaican Government, the Organization of American States (OAS), the Global Environment Facility’s (GEF) Integrating Watershed and Coastal Area Management project (IWCAM), the Caribbean Renewable Energy Development Programme (CREDP), and the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
