From 1 May-31 October 2015, Expo 2015 will be held on the theme, “Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life”. It is organized by the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE), which is the body responsible for overseeing and regulating issues relating to the organization of World and International Expos. Recognizing the role of food and nutrition in achieving sustainable development, the event will focus on a variety of related themes, including improving food quality and security, ensuring healthy and high-quality nutrition for humans, and promoting innovation in research, technology, and business practices.
