This meeting will seek to advance the work on further developing the technical guidelines on transboundary movements of electrical and electronic waste and used electrical and electronic equipment, in particular regarding the distinction between waste and non waste under the Basel Convention.

This meeting will be preceded by a workshop on the ESM of e-wastes and forum on their transboundary movements under the Basel Convention.

The meeting is organized by the Secretariat of the Basel, Rotterdam and Stockholm Conventions in partnership with the Basel and Stockholm Convention Regional Center for the Asia and Pacific Region in China (BCRC-SCRC China).
