This two-day event on 'Strategies to achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls through the gender-responsive implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development' is organized by UN Women and the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA), in collaboration with the UN Population Fund (UNFPA) as an input to the 2017 session of the UN High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF), which will conduct an in-depth review of SDG 5 (gender equality) among several other SDGs.
