The Global Land Indicator Initiative (GLII) will hold an Expert Group Meeting on Land Indicators as part of its ongoing work to advance the harmonization of global land indicators through a multi-stakeholder process. The meeting is expected to address the development of land indicators within the context of the post-2015 development agenda and existing frameworks, including the Voluntary Guidelines on the Responsible Governance on Tenure of Land, Fisheries and Forests (VGGTs). The meeting will be held in conjunction with the 15th annual Conference on Land and Poverty, which will address the theme, 'Integrating Land Governance into the Post-2015 Agenda: Harnessing Synergies for Implementation and Monitoring Impact'.
