Expert Consultation on Water-related Sustainable Development Goals

The UN Office for Sustainable Development (UNOSD) is organizing an Expert Consultation on Water-related SDGs to discuss and finalize a methodological framework for a study to define the scope of water-related SDGs, together with an assessment of means of implementation required to achieve the SDGs. The study is being undertaken by the UNOSD in collaboration with the UN University's Institute for Water, Environment and Health (UNU-INWEH) and the Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI). The study will inform work already initiated by the UN Task Team on the Post-2015 Development Agenda (UNTT) and the Open Working Group (OWG) on SDGs, and support UN-Water, which is developing specific targets for water-related SDGs.
