Under the auspices of the Global Soil Partnership (GSP), the Eurasian sub-regional Soil Partnership (EASP) was launched in November 2013, and its Secretariat is hosted by the Eurasian Center for Food Security (ECFS), in Moscow, the Russian Federation. This workshop follows the finalization of a five year rolling sub-regional Implementation Plan during the second Plenary Meeting of the Eurasian Soil Partnership that took place in Izmir, Turkey, in June 2015. The Implementation Plans call for regular follow up workshops as part of GSP's goal of ensuring concrete field action at regional, national and local levels.
