The ENERGYNOW SDG7 Action Forum will bring together leaders and experts from governments, business, and civil society to drive momentum and mobilize action towards the achievement of SDG 7 (affordable and clean energy). The Forum will convene during the High-level Week of the 78th session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA).
The Forum features a series of discussions and events over two weeks that aim to underscore the need for strengthened partnership and collective action on SDG 7. Events will feature announcements of new commitments and strengthened Energy Compacts. Participants will showcase success stories and best practices and discuss progress and next steps towards implementation of the UN Energy Plan of Action Towards 2025.
The UN-Energy Secretariat at the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA) convene the event.
