EMG Nexus Dialogue Series 2019: Sustainable Consumption and Production of Electrics and Electronics

The UN Environment Management Group (EMG) will hold a high-level panel discussion on sustainable consumption and production of electrics and electronics under the theme, ‘Elevating Electrics and Electronics to the Forefront of the Circular Economy in an Integral and Multi-disciplinary Approach’.

The high-level discussion will focus on the need for a new vision for the electrics and electronics industry, according to the principles of circular economy, and build on the recent efforts by the UN E-Waste Coalition, including the launch of the report titled, ‘A New Circular Vision for Electronics: Time for a Global Reboot’ at the World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting in Davos, Switzerland, in January 2019.

The high-level discussion will take place in the margins of the fourth session of the UN Environment Assembly (UNEA-4) meeting in Nairobi, Kenya, from 11-15 March 2019.
