The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) Centre for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (ECREEE) will convene its third annual ECOWAS Sustainable Energy Forum (ESEF) under the theme, ‘Achieving Sustainable Energy Targets in ECOWAS’.
The meeting will bring together West Africa’s top elected officials, policymakers, industry thought leaders and other stakeholders committed to moving forward the sustainable energy agenda, to raise awareness about the progress made by member countries in the region towards 2020 and 2030 goals, highlight challenges faced by the private sector in developing projects, and facilitate business deals and promote investment.
The event is organized in partnership with the Alliance for Rural Electrification (ARE) and GET.invest, an EU programme that mobilizes renewable energy investments.
