This meeting, on the topic “Building the Future We Want,” is being organized by the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC). Discussions will focus on how to strengthen the multilateral system for sustainable development and to better integrate the global economic, social and environmental spheres. The event will feature Ministers representing Member States, and will result in an official summary by the ECOSOC President, which will be circulated to all Member States and taken up by the Council for further action.
