The UN Economic and Social Council’s (ECOSOC) 2023 Coordination Segment will take place in February 2023. 

The Coordination Segment of ECOSOC was created by the UN General Assembly (UNGA) in June 2021 as an essential part of a range of measures to strengthen ECOSOC. It aims to help ECOSOC better deliver on its Charter role to coordinate the UN system and its subsidiary bodies in the economic, social, health, environmental, and related areas. The Coordination Segment replaces the Integration Segment and the informal meeting of the Council with the Chairs of the subsidiary bodies.
