The UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) will hold a Coordination and Management Meeting (CCM) as part of its role in coordinating the work of the UN Development System. At its CCMs, ECOSOC reviews and approves reports from ECOSOC subsidiary and expert bodies in economic, environmental and social fields as well as reports from expert and ad hoc bodies. The CCM also coordinates and reviews specific development issues with the aim of promoting more integrated responses to specific areas, and considers special country situations or regional issues.
