The 2018 tenth edition of Eco Forum Global (EFG) will convene under the theme ‘Embracing a New Era of Eco-civilization: Green Development with High Priority to Ecology’. The conference will highlight China’s commitment to implementing the Paris Agreement on climate change, meeting the SDGs, achieving emission reduction targets and pursuing better environment protection as well as better nature conservation.
The conference will include: summits to promote international cooperation, explore the concept of eco-civilization and discuss the topics of sustainable development, climate change, nature conservation and green industry; sub-forums to address green development, environment protection, nature conservation, and a supervision and management mechanism; and side events by various organizations to explore a range of topic.
Organized by Guizhou Province, China, EEFG is an annual international conference aiming to promote eco-civilization by convening global leaders from government, business, academia, media and civil society.
