This seminar is organized by the Executive Secretary of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Carribean (ECLAC), through ILPES, co-sponsored by the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the World Bank, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), and the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), with the support of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Technische Zusammenarbeit (GTZ) and the Chilean Ministry of Finance. Among other issues, it will address financial policies and a low carbon economy, as well as environmental fiscal reform.
