E-discussion on Energy Nexus

An e-discussion on “The Energy Nexus” is taking place on the World We Want 2015 platform, from 11-22 February. Its objective is to facilitate discussions on economic, environmental and social sustainability issues, with the participation of guest commentators, and to discuss the linkages between energy and education, employment, food security, gender, heath, population, poverty, resource scarcity and water issues. Viewers are invited to comment, discuss and debate key questions on this topic through the online platform. This e-discussion is one of four online consultations that are part of the Global Thematic Consultation on Energy, which aims to build consensus on a set of global objectives and priorities for energy within the post-2015 development agenda. This consultation is co-led by UN-Energy and the UN Secretary-General’s Sustainable Energy For All Initiative (SE4ALL) and supported by the Governments of Mexico and Norway.
