E-discussion on Collecting and Treating Urban Water After Use

An e-discussion on Collecting and Treating Urban Water After Use is taking place on the World We Want 2015 Platform, from 4-10 February 2013. Viewers are invited to examine how used water can be collected and de-polluted effectively. This e-discussion is part of the Wastewater and Water Quality Sub-Consultation, which aims to facilitate discussion on the inclusion of wastewater management in the future development agenda. This Sub-Consultation, which is co-organized by the UN Human Settlements Programme (UN-HABITAT), the UN Environment Programme (UNEP), the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), Aquafed and International Water Association, is one of three sub-consultations that are part of the Global Thematic Consultation on Water, which is co-led by UN-Water, the UN Department for Economic and Social Affairs (DESA) and the UN Children’s Fund (UNICEF) and supported by the Governments of the Netherlands and Switzerland.
