Held every two years, the Dresden Nexus Conference brings together individuals and organizations from diverse research disciplines, national and international organizations and actors who apply a “Nexus Approach” to resource management. The 2017 conference will address the theme, ‘SDGs and the Nexus Approach – Monitoring and Implementation,’ with a focus on multifunctional land-use systems and resources management in resilient cities. The Dresden Nexus Conference was initiated by the UN University Institute for Integrated Management of Material Fluxes and of Resources (UNU-FLORES), the Technische Universität Dresden and the Leibniz Institute for Ecological Urban and Regional Development.
