In preparation for the third annual Multi-stakeholder Forum on Science, Technology and Innovation for the SDGs (STI Forum), there is a Global Call for Innovations to find scientific and technological innovations to accelerate progress towards one or more of these five Goals: SDG 6 (clean water and sanitation); SDG 7 (affordable and clean energy); SDG 11 (sustainable cities and communities); SDG 12 (responsible consumption and production); and SDG 15 (life on land). Innovations can be submitted until 4 April 2018. The Call focuses on technologies aiming to help the poorest and most vulnerable.

All submitted innovations are eligible to join the Global Innovation Exchange , which will allow innovators to access funding opportunities, locate complementary resources to support innovation, and will help to identify where other innovators are working in the same or related fields, as competitors or potential partners. Selected innovations will be showcased during the STI Forum, convening in June 2018.
