This event will showcase the UN's commitment to the data revolution and the potential and impact of such a revolution. The UN Millennium Campaign (UNMC) and Microsoft will launch an interactive visualization of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) to map progress towards the goals. The UN Secretary-General's Climate Change Support Team and UN Global Pulse will present the winners of the Big Data Climate Challenge, which aims to identify and highlight data-driven evidence on the economic dimensions of climate change. The event will also discuss the results of the MY World survey.
