Conference on Land Policy in Africa (CLPA-2019)

The third edition of the Conference on Land Policy in Africa will convene under the theme, ‘Winning the Fight against Corruption in the Land Sector: Sustainable Pathway for Africa’s Transformation’. This theme supports the designation by the African Union of 2018 as the Anti-Corruption Year under the theme, ‘Winning the Fight against Corruption: A Sustainable Path to Africa’s Transformation’.

Organized by the African Land Policy Centre, a joint initiative of the African Union Commission (AUC), the UN Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) and the African Development Bank (AfDB), the conference will seek to deepen capacity for land policy in Africa through improved access to knowledge and information on land policy development and implementation. It follows the second CLPA, which was held in November 2017 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
