Climate Week NYC 2015

The Climate Group is organizing Climate Week in New York City, US, to highlight the transformational actions and commitments that innovative leaders from sub-national governments and business are taking to tackle climate change. The week-long series will include over 70 events intended to drive climate action. Hosted by governments, companies, universities and organizations, the events include a wide range of topics, such as: 'Energy Productivity Index for Companies: Increasing Profits While Reducing Emissions' and 'Improving the Lives of Women and Communities through Cookstoves and Fuels' (21 September); 'The Case for Removing CO2 from Air: Connecting Problem to Solution' (22 September); 'Corporations and Climate Adaptation: Innovation in Emerging Economies' and 'Exterior Air Barrier Systems – High Performance Buildings' (23 September); the International Conference on Sustainable Development (23-24 September); the Carbon Forum North America and a Climate Data Summit (24 September); 'Managing Carbon Risk: From Principles to Practice' and the Low Carbon Technology Partnerships Initiative Roundtable III (25 September); the UN Private Sector Forum (26 September); the Social Good Summit (27-28 September); and 'Next Generation of Environmental Finance' (28 September).
