Clean Energy Ministerial 5 (CEM5)

The Republic of Korea is hosting the fifth Clean Energy Ministerial (CEM5), which will gather energy ministers and other high-level delegates from over 20 of the world's largest economies to identify avenues to accelerate the transition to a global clean energy economy. CEM5 will focus specifically on identifying smart policies, programmes, and strategies to improve energy efficiency, clean energy deployment, and energy access expansion. It is also anticipated that governments will announce specific new commitments to advance these goals at the meeting. Participants include the 23 CEM government ministers and delegates, official observer organisations and other invited stakeholders.
