Organized by the Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD), the Central America Regional Workshop on Biodiversity and Finance in support of the Nagoya Outcomes will address issues related to: the Nagoya Protocol on access and benefit-sharing (ABS); the Strategic Plan for Biodiversity 2011-2020 and national biodiversity strategies and action plans (NBSAPs); review of implementation of the CBD Strategy for Resource Mobilization; and innovative financing for biodiversity and ecosystem services.
