The UN General Assembly (UNGA) will hold a briefing by the President of the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), Nestor Osorio, on 5 November 2013, at UN Headquarters in New York, US. The meeting will provide an informal setting for Member States to discuss the strengthening of the Council and the reform of its mandates.
