This 'International Conference on Conservation and Sustainable Use of Tropical Rainforests,' supported by the International Union of Forest Research Organizations (IUFRO), is being organized by the Pulau Banding Foundation in collaboration with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of Malaysia and other national partners. It aims to bring together policy makers, scientists and forest administrators from around the world, including from countries with tropical rainforests, to address the theme, 'Towards a sustainable forest ecosystem through research, cooperation and networking'.
