Arab Water Week 2015 will convene under the theme 'innovations and sustainable solutions for the water sector in the Arab region'. The meeting will address a variety of sub-themes, including, inter alia: the energy efficiency dilemma in water and wastewater utilities; social responsibility and water for marginalized people; water utilities adaptation to climate change, current status and future perspectives; integrated water resources management (IWRM) and good water governance in the Arab region; the Millennium Development Goal (MDG)+ initiative towards sustainable water resources management within the sustainable development goals (SDGs); benchmarking as a tool for optimizing water and wastewater operations; and water public action and awareness in a fast, changing world.
