Aligning Initiatives to Track Progress Towards a New Global Food System

This multi-stakeholder event will discuss innovative new tools for a comprehensive tracking system and explore dovetailing of several initiatives to improve synergies and accelerate progress. It will focus on: taking the nutrition temperature of food systems: why and how; 'integration’ in the SDGs and what does it mean for nutrition; tracking progress in food systems: a private sector perspective; the Food Sustainability Index; the Global Food Systems Index; and the EAT-Lancet commission framework: towards an integrated index.

This event is co-organized by International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI), Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN), Barilla Center for Food & Nutrition, City University of London, Rabobank, and EAT Foundation.
