4-5 May 2018 Dakar, Kaolack, Senegal
Africa Days 2018

Organized by SOS Sahel and its partners, the second edition of the Africa Days Forum will explore the contribution of family farming and small-scale agriculture to a sustainable future for the Sahel region. The event will include a market place and field visits to showcase actions on the ground aimed at protecting the environment while ensuring the sustainable development of local communities that are dependent on agriculture.

SOS Sahel organized the first Africa Days Forum in 2017 as part of its 40th Anniversary celebrations, during which the regional Food and Nutrition Security 2025 Initiative was also launched. The Initiative seeks to promote local solutions to fight desertification, while ensuring that farmers have the resources necessary to produce sufficient food.
