Africa Day, sponsored by the Republic of Congo and jointly organized by the African Union (AU), UN Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA), African Development Bank (AfDB), UN Environment Programme (UNEP) and UN Development Programme (UNDP), will provide a high-level platform to discuss Africa’s progress towards sustainable development, and identify strategies and measures for accelerating progress.
