This dialogue hosted by the Organization of American States (OAS) will present a series of manuals on public participation in the area of sustainable development. The manuals, prepared by OAS, detail step-by-step procedures, mechanisms and opportunities that national legislation provides the citizens of the seven Central American countries (Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama) and the Dominican Republic, and discuss progress on access rights in the context of sustainable development in the eight countries.
