The seventh meeting of the Executive Committee (ExCom) of the Warsaw International Mechanism for Loss and Damage (WIM) will, inter alia: consider the report from the Task Force on Displacement; advance intersessional work related to slow onset events; and discuss collaboration with the Technology Executive Committee (TEC) and its communication strategy, including engagement with the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC).

The ExCom will also address the establishment of expert groups, including a technical expert panel/group on slow onset events organizations, centers and networks; a technical expert group on comprehensive risk management approaches; and an expert group on non‐economic losses.
