The 58th session of the UN Commission on the Status of Women (CSW 58) is convening under the priority theme, ‘Challenges and achievements in the implementation of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) for women and girls'. CSW 58's review theme will focus on 'Access and participation of women and girls to education, training, science and technology, including for the promotion of women's equal access to full employment and decent work,' while its emerging issue theme is 'Women's access to productive resources'.
