The Least Developed Country (LDC) Expert Group (LEG) conducts two meetings every year. It will hold its 42nd meeting at the margins of the Botswana Global Adaptation Week. One of the key deliverables of the meeting is to finish the draft rules of procedure, as mandated by the 26th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP 26) to the UNFCCC (decision 15/CP.26, para. 19), for adoption by COP 27 and the fourth meeting of the COP serving as the meeting of the Parties to the Paris Agreement (CMA 4). Attendance is by invitation only.
