The Third Pacific Islands Climate Outlook Forum (PICOF-3), organized by the Secretariat of the Pacific Regional Environment Programme (SPREP), the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) and partners, and hosted by the Samoa Meteorology Division, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, will focus on health. Pre-PICOF training includes: the Climate and Oceans Support Programme for the Pacific (COSPPac) training workshop on the Seasonal Climate Outlooks in Pacific Islands Countries (SCOPIC) tool, held in Vailima, Samoa, from 18-21 September 2017; and the Republic of Korea-Pacific Islands Climate Prediction Services (ROK-PI CliPS) project training workshop, conducted from 22-26 September 2017.
