3rd Pacific Climate Change Conference [Postponed]

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 Pacific Ocean Pacific Climate Change Conference was postponed until further notice.

The third biennial Pacific Climate Change Conference, hosted by the National University of Samoa, Samoa, and the Secretariat of the Pacific Regional Environment Programme (SPREP), will convene on the theme, ‘Blue Pacific, Climate Action for Climate Resilience’. The conference was scheduled to take place from 27-29 May, in Samoa. 

The conference will discuss how the countries of the Pacific are responding to the challenge of Paris Agreement implementation, and seek to advance the conversation on the impacts of climate change for the people of the Pacific by exploring the science behind, as well as impacts, solutions and enablers of, climate action.
