The 2017 edition of this conference will feature five core themes meant to reflect an integrated approach to identifying solutions to the complex global challenge of food security. The themes include: food creation; food safety and bio security; food loss and waste; food in a changing society; and food utilization. The event is organized by Elsevier in collaboration with the University of Pretoria, the University of the Western Cape and DST-NRF Centre of Excellence in Food Security.
