35th Session of the Joint Scientific Committee for the World Climate Research Programme

The 35th Session of the Joint Scientific Committee (JSC-35) for the World Climate Research Programme (WCRP) will convene in Heidelberg, Germany to discuss the implementation of Grand Challenges, including Grand Challenges on: Regional Sea Level Rise; Water Availability; Cryosphere in a Changing Climate; Regional Climate Information; Climate Extremes; and Clouds, Circulation and Climate Sensitivity. The meeting will also discuss Core Projects, WCRP Councils, Working Groups, Partnerships and Joint Initiatives. JSC-35 will also hold a joint session with the WMO Technical Conference on Climate Services. WCRP is a joint project of the International Council for Science (ICSU), the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) and the UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization's Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission (UNESCO-IOC).
