The European Forestry Commission is one of six Regional Forestry Commissions established by the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) to provide a policy and technical forum for countries to discuss and address forest-related issues on a regional basis. The main topics for discussion during this session will be: climate change and forests; forests and energy; forests and water; and regional cooperation on forests.
