The Philippines will host the 30th Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Summit. ASEAN's theme for 2017 is 'Partnering for Change, Engaging the World,' and its priorities include people-oriented and people-centered initiatives, peace and stability, maritime security and cooperation, inclusive and innovative-led growth, ASEAN resiliency and ASEAN as model of regionalism, according to the Philippines' Presidential Communications Operations Office. Officials also said the agenda will address issues related to the South China Sea, including the Code of Conduct, its Declaration and its principles. The ten members of ASEAN are: Brunei Darussalam; Cambodia; Indonesia; Lao PDR; Malaysia; Myanmar; Philippines; Singapore; Thailand; and Viet Nam.
