At the 27th BASIC (Brazil, South Africa, India and China) Ministerial Meeting on Climate Change, ministers welcomed Brazil’s offer to host the 28th BASIC Ministerial Meeting on Climate Change.

The BASIC group will discuss their negotiating position for the 25th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP 25) to the UNFCCC in Santiago, Chile, in December 2019.
