25th Session of the ISA Assembly

The International Seabed Authority (ISA) is an autonomous international organization established under the 1982 UN Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS) and the 1994 Agreement relating to the Implementation of Part XI of UNCLOS. The Authority is the organization through which States Parties to the Convention organize and control activities in the seabed, ocean floor and subsoil beyond the limits of national jurisdiction. At Annual Sessions of the ISA, representatives from member States of the Authority meet to discuss and formulate the work of the Authority and its Secretariat.

The 25th session of the ISA Assembly will convene back-to-back with the second part of the 25th session of the ISA Council.
