20th Meeting of the GCF Board

The agenda for the 20th meeting of the Board of the Green Climate Fund (GCF) includes: policies and procedures for the formal replenishment process and for contributions from philanthropic foundations and other nonpublic and alternative sources; the gender policy; policy matters related to and consideration of funding proposals; the status of the initial resource mobilization process; and country programming and readiness.

The Board will also consider, inter alia: the report on the analysis of the challenges, barriers, gaps and recommendations to achieve an increase in the amount of direct access proposals in the pipeline; recommendations of the Private Sector Advisory Group on opportunities to engage the private sector, including local actors, in adaptation action at the national, regional and international level; and the seventh report of the GCF to the Conference of the Parties (COP) to the UNFCCC.
